ESIS Technology Enables E-commerce Between AMSAFE Aviation And Its Major Airline Clients

San Diego-October 26, 2004 - AMSAFE, the world leader in aerospace and aviation restraint products, has expanded their use of ESIS services to include five major U.S. airline customers. AMSAFE also services international airline clients as well as aerospace manufacturers through ESIS.

Like other airline suppliers, AMSAFE is required to use the SPEC2000 format for order administration. In February 2004, AMSAFE selected ESIS to enable them to meet this requirement. In just one week, ESIS was able to set up five of AMSAFE’s airline clients to send their orders to AMSAFE via ESIS’ Harmony Order Management System (HOM). In addition to the purchase/change order and acknowledgment capabilities, AMSAFE can also create advance ship notices and invoices through ESIS.

Diane Ahles, AMSAFE Customer Service Analyst, said, We like using ESIS so much that we promote their services to our all airline clients. We’re planning to roll out several other airlines on the HOM system over the next few months.
